When Is Your Next Mind Test?

We will not be free from thoughts of failure until we finally resolve the desire to entertain those thoughts and be released by them.   We need to redirect our thinking to what we need to do to think differently and more positively.

You may complain and ask “Why do I keep going back to those thoughts of destruction?”  But, until you start removing that thought out of your mind, you will really do nothing more than be an easy target for that thought to come back again.

Think about the situations that cause the thought of failure as God would see it.  Examine your heart and mind.  If someone has caused you to think of you as less of person and then continues to belittle you.  Begin to think of the truth that speaks to you of this challenge.  Fill your mind with things that help you avoid situations that hold you back from passing the test of thinking differently and positively.

If you help yourself do these exercises of training the brain to think victory instead of failure the process will allow those former thoughts to disappear from your mind.  Over time, the thoughts that in the past filled your mind will fill it less and less until, finally, the thoughts have no effect on you and eventually are no longer entertained.

The one who sows to his/her flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.  Galatians 6:8
